TXFallenPD Tribute Event - Saturday, October 20, 2018

An officer is killed in the line of duty every 68 hours. Throughout history, there have been more line of duty deaths in the State of Texas than any other state or territory.

The TXFallenPD Tribute Event began in 2008 as a police bike race honoring the lives of Texas officers killed in the line of duty. Over the years it has grown into a community fundraising event benefitting the Texas Police Chiefs Association Foundation which, through their Officer Death Benefit Fund, provides monetary assistance within 24 hours to the families of officers working in Texas who die in the line of duty. Honoring those that have died in the line of duty remains at the forefront of our event. The TXFallenPD Tribute Event is not affiliated in any way with the Dallas Fallen Officer Foundation or the Texas Fallen Officer Foundation. In addition, neither the Highland Village Police Department nor the Texas Police Chiefs Association Foundation have ever nor ever will use telemarketers to promote our event or the Foundation. Please be assured when the Highland Village Police Department partners with a local business, the same rules apply.

The TXFallenPD Tribute Event is a community event that takes place at The Shops at Highland Village. Activities include a 5K run, civilian bike race, and a police obstacle course race. There is live music, demonstrations, raffle prizes, a silent auction, kids zone, food, and drinks throughout the day.

Since 2008, we have raised over $160,000 for the Fallen Officer Fund. There are many opportunities for you to help us reach our goal of $30,000 this year! See how you can help here
